Thieu Smeets is a multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Blending performance, metalwork, and visual art, he creates mythical experiences where craft and intuition come together. With a background in fine arts and extensive experience working with steel—especially recycled metal—Thieu transforms raw materials into powerful, dreamlike sculptures. His work brings the fantastical into the physical, from theatrical performances to custom steel creations.
He works from his own artistic vision, always playing with the boundaries of what’s possible, and is open to commissions and collaborations.
