Wheel of souls
Wheel of Souls is an intuitive, poetic and raw journey to the core of our being. Myth, mysticism, and
magic take the lead in this interactive ritual, where we seek movement and connection.
The Wheel of Souls has come to a standstill. Power Animal Crow, the messenger from the Afterlife has
been left unguarded. The rising New Moon calls upon the Twin Souls Freyr and Freya. They emerge
from an universal longing to awaken new life and step forward to fulfill their role in this process. But
they can not do this alone…
Mythical scenes
Thieu is inspired by the relationship between humans and animals, the beastly side of human beings and the herewith closely related mythical scenes and shamanistic rituals. You see this clearly in his performance work, where his sculptures come alive. During this performances Thieu dances with the boundaries between the physical world and our transcendent consciousness. These are intimate rituals. A transformation from sculpture to artists and artist to sculpture.
